Restaurants I want to live in…Shabby Chic + Opulent

Everyone has walked into a friend or acquaintance's home and said "wow this place is beautiful, I'd love to live here". Sometimes the same feeling goes for a well decorated hotel or restaurant. Since one of my many loves is eating delicious foods at beautiful places, I have said this about many a dining establishment. So I give you the first edition of "Restaurants I want to live in!"

When I’m digging the shabby chic vibe (The Fat Radish) but feeling a little opulent (Beauty and Essex) I want to live in Pipa and soak up the glitzy yet relaxed atmosphere.

How to get the opulent yet down to earth glam-y glam look:
1.       Create reflection with lights and mirrors: a killer antique chandelier + antique mirrors with metallic tone frames will do the trick
2.       Get shabby with exposed or white washed brick walls
3.       Texturize with mixed fabrics: light and airy linen + dark and heavy velvet
4.       Warm it up with dark and distressed wood: Hickory + Maple + Teak
